As a small business with the ability to open certain dialogues and discussions, I endeavour to utilise my business in an effort to support important organisations in our community.
One way I can provide my support to certain organisations is by holding a bi-annual fundraiser, auctioning a certain piece of jewellery to raise money for important causes.
I hope to continue to work within our community towards a fair and equitable society, and am open to discussing further work for the future that I may take part in. I think this is a very important part of owning a small business and is a step in working towards living in a warm, supportive and generous community. If you are involved with an organisation that you believe might be interested in working together to raise money or awareness, my email is always open for discussion and proposals at email@example.com Please feel free to reach out and chat ~~~
To raise money for an organisation I deeply support, I held a fundraiser whereby there was a Love Ring auctioned off with all proceeds going to Djirra. I continue to stand with Djirra in their work as an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation supporting Aboriginal women and children’s safety and wellbeing.
Djirra provides practical support for women in prison and Aboriginal women experiencing family violence, and raises cultural awareness and community education. Djirra provides culturally safe and specialist family violence legal assistance and representation and delivers early intervention and prevention programs. This is an organisation I hope to continue to support and raise awareness towards.
Once again, the winner could customise the 'Love Ring' as they wished. I am overwhelmed by the generosity and support of my community. Together, we raised $6,980 for Djirra with 349 tickets sold.
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in this raffle.
In this overwhelming time, I had been thinking of the best way to support those in need, where 100% of the proceeds will go to those directly affected. To help support these communities, I raffled off a ‘Love Ring’, where tickets were $20 each, with all proceeds being donated to Wild Life Victoria. The winner was able to pick which stone combination they preferred and have the ring made to size in which donated the materials to make this piece.
Each and every piece by Bella Clark is single-handedly crafted by Bella within her Melbourne studio. Honouring a minimal-waste regime and uniquely standalone designs, each order is considered separately from the last, and created only once the order has been received.
This responsible way of working means needless inventory is eliminated, materials are never wasted, and individualism is preserved; your jewellery is intimately yours. You will always know who designed, crafted, and finessed your jewellery, and where this all unfurls.
Another dedication to Bella Clark practice is celebrating jewellery in all forms and fashions. This is embraced in the manner of reusing jewels, recycling materials, and repurposing any piece intended. With respect to the designer and wearer beforehand, Bella Clark welcomes any treasure you wish to transform. Together, a new path is shaped, and the jewellery lives on. Bella Clark is dedicated to creating long-term relationships with your jewellery, where each order is taking into consideration with precision and singularity, to be cherished forever.
