Caring for your Sterling Silver jewellery
Due to the nature of some metals please keep in mind that the colour can slightly change over time. Sterling Silver can tarnish over time due to the nature of the material, especially if it isn't worn frequently. This tarnishing will disappear slowly with wear.
Sterling silver is a precious metal and may require cleaning from time to time. Sterling Silver can tarnish rapidly when exposed to salty air, chlorine, household chemicals and products containing sulphur. If this happens to you, remove tarnish using a non-abrasive silver polish and soft cloth and gently rub your sterling silver. Then use a soft brush or toothbrush and wash in warm, sudsy water, ensuring all polish is removed and carefully dry. This will remove the tarnish and dullness, keeping your sterling silver like new.
Store your jewellery in the original packaging.
Caring for your Gold Plated jewellery
Please keep in mind that gold plating is only a surface treatment that can wear away over time. To maintain gold plating, avoid water, swimming and wearing in the shower.
Always store your jewellery in a dry and secure place in its original packaging. If your gold plating seems to be fading, contact at email@example.com to arrange a re-plating.
Caring for your jewellery with Gemstones and Pearls
To keep your gemstones clean, avoid wearing jewellery during moisturiser, make-up and fragrance application. Take care to protect your jewellery from the impact of hard or abrasive surfaces. If your jewellery has a prong setting, avoid snagging the setting on clothing as this may cause loosening in the setting, risking the loss of a gemstone.
Earrings with Pearls should not be worn in water, swimming and showering. Always store in a dry and secure place.
